So I am going through a LOT of my stuff and selling whatever I can because I am really really really low on money lately, and there were a few things I thought maybe some of you guys may be interested in. I'll list them here for a few days and then if not taken throw them up on Ebay and hope to sell some there.

If you want pictures, or more information, let me know. I'm not putting a set price - just let me know what you think is fair, if interested. I'll let you know if that's OK or not.

And I'll take Paypal this time. :)

Angel "Birthday" script

Angel Season One Premium Trading Cards Binder (w/ all 90 cards)

Buffy the Vampire Slayer "Dead Things" script

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Four Premium Trading Cards Binder (w/ all 90 cards)

Buffy the Vampire Slayers Binder (it's the same as S4 binder, but it does have a scratch across the front) with all 72 Season One cards and all 90 Season Two cards

Buffy the Vampire Slayers Season Three Binder with all 90 cards and also in the same binder, all 72 Buffy Reflections: The High School Years Cards

<strike>Roswell "Ch-Ch-Changes" script</strike>

<strike>Roswell "Cry Your Name" script</strike>

<strike>Roswell "The Departure" script</strike>

<strike>Roswell "The End of the World" script</strike>

<strike>Roswell "Heart of Mine" script</strike>

<strike>Roswell "Pilot" script</strike>

Roswell Season One Premium Trading Cards Binder (w/ all 90 cards)

AUTOGRAPHS:
All autographs were either signed in front of me, by a comic shop during a signing or bought on Ebay with a COA.
My attempt to be a better LJ friend.

So I've come to the realization that I am a bad LJ friend. I really don't want to be, and I plan to be a better one. But I think I've become so overwhelmed with my flist. I'm taking most communities off - I'll check them out when I feel like it.

And I want to say it's "National Defriending Amnesty Day" but that never seems to work because I feel like people don't want to defriend people no matter if they're allowed or not.

So I've decided to clear my entire flist. I am defriending EVERYONE today. And if you wish to still remain friends with me, please comment and I'll add you back.

I'm not doing this for drama, or attention, but out of a genuine desire to be a better friend.

I'm going to post every day for a week letting people know this is why I defriended everyone. I don't want anyone to miss it because it's not like I want everyone to be gone! I just want people to be able to bow out if they want to without any drama.

So please, if you are interested in staying on my flist, please comment here and I'll add you back. Of course, it's going to take a bit to defriend 300+ people, so I may not have defriended you by the time you've seen this. But if you're interested in sticking around, please comment.

Underrated Movie Picspam (Image Heavy!)

Blame this ALLLL on truffle_shuffle. The other day I commented that I should make a list of underrated movies, and then truffle_shuffle said: "Oh, you should totally do a picspam!"

So about 7 hours later, I present to you - 29 movies I feel are underrated and WHY! With pretty pictures. :) I think this is probably my first official picspam.

I remember when "The American President" came out and did only a medium amount at the box office that Roger Ebert and Gene Siskel were confused, and so was I. This was one of the absolute best romantic comedies I have ever seen. It had brains (written by Aaron Sorkin, of the West Wing fame), tons of heart and the best fictional American President ever in Douglas' Andrew Shepherd. Although a lot of people know and love this movie now, not enough do. I want to spread the news further, a decade + too late!

This is one of the smartest, most touching and visually interesting movies I've ever seen and I find it sad that so many people have not seen it (a sentiment sure to be echoed during this picspam). Based on a novel by Carl Sagan, it's about what could be out there... if anything is. It's not an action film, it's a drama and my favorite Jodie Foster movie, hands down.

This is one of those excellent movies I think has become somewhat forgotten over time. It was the role that really put Matt Damon on the map and for good reason - more than anything you take away from this movie is WHO IS THAT GUY?? Because he was mindblowingly amazing in it and should have been nominated for it. Unfortunately, he made himself pretty sick to get thin enough for the role, as you can kind of see in the picspam. The movie is about a woman getting a medal of honor posthumously and the investigation going on - and a lot of people who don't want it to happen. Just a great film worth rediscovering.

"Dead Man Walking" is one of those rare movies that is so well done, so intellectual that it has thew power to change your mind on a subject. Before I saw this movie, I was on the fence when it came to the death penalty, but after - I am firmly against it. Even more so after reading the book it was based on. Sean Penn and Susan Sarandon do their finest acting EVER in this movie and I will never forget it.

OK, admittedly the first time I saw "Deep Impact" I hated it. But that was because I was expecting an action movie and what I got was a drama and I didn't know what to make of it. But that's precisely what I love SO much about this movie. Sure, it dealt with how to stop it, but the main bulk of the movie is about what we do on earth when we know definite death is coming. I love the idea of the lottery system, of underground caves, of teenagers getting married so to stay together. It's all so human and it's just such a surprise of a movie when you stop waiting for shit to get blown up every five minutes.

Sure, everyone knows this movie because of Julia Roberts, and yes, she was fantastic in it. But this movie is so well done - Aaron Eckhart and Albert Finney are amazing as well and the story it tells is just really involving - moreso when you know it's based on a real story and that an actual HUGE company did the things they did. It's a good old fashioned David vs. Goliath story and it's one of my favorites.

Yeah yeah yeah, I've been talking about this movie all year and I still consider it underrated. I know a few of you didn't care for it, but I loved it. Yes, I'm biased with Jason Segel love, but it's genuinely funny. And Dracula Musical! Need I say more?

For a long long time I considered "Fried Green Tomatoes" my favorite movie of all time. It's a bit down the list now, but I still adore it. A lovely Southern movie and the best female friendship I've seen on film.

Such a crime that this movie was all but overlooked at the Oscars (Amy Ryan got a WELL deserved nomination but a HORRIBLE denial of the actual prize). It's about a missing girl and two detectives who try to find her. And it is about SO much more than that. I mean, the movie has Casey Affleck acting his brains out, Michelle Monaghan (who shows up on this list twice) - someone who, if she stops picking such bad movies to be in, would be a huge star by now, Ed Harris and Morgan Freeman. It's dark, twisted, depressing and amazing. And it really has you thinking. And yes, directed brilliantly by one Ben Affleck.

I think everyone typically slags the sophomore project of the "Next Big Thing" - in this case, Doug Liman, who struck gold with "Swingers". This movie undeservedly kind of got swept under the carpet. It's a lot of fun and worth rediscovering.

I know most people wouldn't consider this to be an underrated film, but I truly think it is. Not everyone will love it as much as I did (and admittedly I REALLY dig apocalyptic films) but there is so much more to this movie than zombies. It's about the last man on earth and how he is slowly going mad over time. See that picture with him and his dog in the tub? That picture gives me chills. It epitomized what I loved about this movie. And I'm sorry, but it's my favorite performance by Will Smith - he was amazing in it, and definitely under appreciated for it.

I'm not sure if it's technically a great movie, but it is an amazingly interesting one! It's very Agatha Christie's "Ten Little Indians" with people staying at a motel being killed off one by one. Lots of twists and turns, and a fun movie more people should see.

"Imagine Me And You" took me by surprise. Going in, I didn't know it was about two women loving each other, but you know what? It didn't matter (as it shouldn't). It was such a beautiful romantic comedy because you kind of knew it took a deeper commitment for them to admit their love to each other (one of them didn't even know they were gay). Lena Headey and Piper Perabo are gloriously gorgeous in this and the supporting characters have weight and depth, which usually they don't in romcoms.

In my mind, this movie should have been a HUGE hit. HUGE. It was one of the most beautiful, touching films I've ever seen in my life and I watched in awe all three hours long. And then it just kind of faded away, and I was really sad. Naomi Watts is brilliant in this. She is so painstakingly gorgeous that it hurts. And the FX to make King Kong look SO real and the body animation provided by Andy Serkis is just unsurpassed. I wish this movie had done better because it is one of my absolute favorites ever.

I don't like Tom Cruise much. Especially lately. And ironically the two movies I've seen in theaters five times are both starring him (this and "Jerry Maguire") and he has nothing to do with it. This film is so smart, so visually stimulating - I know it made $100 million + at the Box Office, but I still think it's kind of getting lost after some time and it is one of Spielberg's best.

This movie took me by surprise. I was not expecting much at ALL and this movie blew me away. It is about the first Class Action Sexual Harassment lawsuit, and Charlize Theron's acting is from another world in this movie. It's a great movie that I really think not a lot of people have seen.

This movie, to me, is kind of the epitome of this list. I adore it, and I really think the large portion of you will never have seen it. Yes, Renee Zellweger is in it, but this was when she was good! The movie's about Meryl Streep dying of cancer and how her very business-minded daughter has to put her life on hold to take care of her. Meryl Streep is an acting goddess, and this may be my favorite performance by her. The movie is just heartbreakingly beautiful and I can go through a good tissue box watching it. It's also one of the EXTREMELY FEW movies where I liked the movie better than the book. If you haven't seen it yet, please do. You'll want to call your Mom and tell her you love her right after.

The most visually interesting movie I've ever seen. Black & White and color dance together in this beautiful story of breaking conventionality. Such an amazing movie that didn't get the attention it deserved.

I love this movie because it is one of the few movies that I was still figuring out when it ended but I was able to understand once I got it! So many movies are complicated to be complicated and you never truly figure it out, but this is not one of them. It's also a great looking movie with terrific performances all around (eh on Scarlett, but isn't that always the way?)

I was not expecting to like this movie at ALL. It was about a horse, after all! And it was about three hours long. And then a funny thing happened - three hours passed and it ended and I wanted so much more! It was such a beautiful movie.

Ok, seeing that no one originally got "Shopgirl" on my screencap meme is probably what made me want to do this. Admittedly, I can see how other people may not like this, but I really loved it. Clare Danes is so sadly beautiful in this movie, and her relationships with Steve Martin and Jason Schwartzman are so wonderfully complex and - you really don't know who is better for her, or if neither are. It's based on a novella by Steve Martin, and it's a great sad little movie.

Again, I am a huge apocalyptic movie fanatic and this is kind of the granddaddy of them. It's based on my favorite book of all time and I STILL love it, and that's saying something. Yes, it's 6 1/2 hours long, but it really is fantastically interesting. And Stu Redman, as played by Gary Sinise, is a revelation. And Rob Lowe is his best ever as deaf mute Nick Andros.

God, the previews for this movie were HORRIBLE. I had no interest whatsoever in seeing it until someone at work recommended it to me and I tried it. I can honestly say that no movie, until this one, has ever captured as much as the joy of "The Princess Bride". It has so many of the same elements - horror, comedy, romance, drama. It's a beautiful completely underrated movie. It's based on the novel by Neil Gaiman (and again, I liked this movie better than the book, but I read it after I loved the movie, so I may be biased) about a fallen star (Danes). A great film which a lot of people overlooked because of the GODAWFUL preview for it.

I know Will Ferrell is often obnoxious, which is why I originally skipped this movie, as I think a lot of people did. But he is really wonderful in this movie, which is one of the smartest films I've seen. He plays Harold Crick, a real man who is also a character Emma Thompson is writing - and contemplating how to kill, much to Harold's chagrin.

I love this movie more than words can say. It's funny, sweet and "That Thing You Do" the song is so amazingly perfect and catchy that you don't MIND hearing it about fifty times throughout the movie. The cast is fun and light and it's just such a feel good movie.

Yay, after the Golden Globes again it's kind of cool to love Colin Farrell and sing his acting praises. I've known he was a great actor because of this movie, his first. It's not a war movie - it's a drama set in boot camp. His character is amazing - trying hard to find loopholes to get everyone out but himself. Such an underrated movie.

With the recent wave of reality television, it's kind of funny to look back on this movie and what seemed unbelievable now seems so possible. It's about a man whose whole life is a staged reality show, but he doesn't know it. At first. Jim Carrey's best performance, with an excellent supporting cast - Ed Harris, Laura Linney, Natasha MacElhone, etc.

I know - how can a movie I won't shut up about be underrated? But listen, I haven't talked about the film in a year! It's overdue. :) And I think overall, it's still overlooked. It's one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen and if you STILL haven't seen it, what the heck are you waiting for??

Ok, I'll end with a movie with a disclaimer. I hated this movie the first time I saw it. You HAVE to have a really freaking weird sense of humor to like this movie. Most of you probably won't But if you're a weirdo, try it. It's got a huge cast - Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, Michael Ian Black, Christopher Meloni, David Hyde-Pierce, Molly Shannon, Bradley Cooper, etc., etc. It's such a weird movie. But I kind of love it ;)

PHEW! That's it. And please add "IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS YET, PLEASE DO NOW" to pretty much every movie. :)

Please let me know what you think - yay or nay, and let me know if you do happen to see any of these movies based on my recommendation.
